Originally from Brownsville, TX, Brianna Deleon is a current M.S. Graduate student with a concentration in Urban and Community Design at Texas Tech University. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. Her undergraduate research focused on large scale mobile urban interventions in Mexico City that related to the issues of premodernity vs. modernity and the Situationist International theory of derive. Brianna is passionate about creating cities that are mobile, livable, and vibrant and sees that the city’s current infrastructure has the potential for greater use for the public. When she isn’t working on architecture, she enjoys cooking new recipes and reading about Greek mythology.
